Randomizer Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
Randomizer is an app for random decisions — numbers, coin flips, dice, passwords, list picks, playing cards, meals, colours and more — published by Andadasi (Karen Simonyan) and distributed through Google Play. This policy covers the Android app.
No accounts, no servers
Randomizer has no accounts, no sign-up and no servers of its own. Nothing you enter or generate — numbers, passwords, list items, results — is sent to us. We cannot see it, and there is nothing on our side that could.
What is stored on your device
- Your settings: the light, dark or system appearance choice, and which tool was open last.
- The last number range and password options you used, so they are ready next time.
- If you watched a video for ad-free time, the moment that time ends.
Lists, custom meals and results are kept only while the app is open and are not saved. Deleting the app removes everything above.
When you tap a generated password to copy it, it goes to your device's clipboard and is marked as sensitive, so Android 13 and later hide it from clipboard previews. Randomizer does not keep a copy.
Usage statistics
Randomizer uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used, so we can improve it. It records events such as which tool was opened, when a result was generated, and when the menu or share option was used, together with standard technical information: app version, device model, operating system version, language and approximate region derived from a shortened IP address. Google Analytics may also use your device's Advertising ID.
These statistics are tied to a random identifier that Analytics creates for this installation — not to your name, email, phone number or the device's hardware ID. We see only aggregated reports, such as how many people used the coin flip this week, never the activity of an individual.
Advertising
Randomizer is free and shows advertising served by Google AdMob: a banner at the bottom of the screen and, from time to time, a full-screen ad shown after a result. You can also choose to watch a short video in exchange for 30 minutes without full-screen ads; this is always optional.
To serve ads, measure them and prevent fraud, AdMob may access your device's Advertising ID together with technical information such as device type, operating system version, approximate region and how you interact with ads. This is collected and used by Google: we receive only aggregate reports, such as how many ads were shown and what they earned.
Google's use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy & Terms, and you can review Google's advertising controls at My Ad Center.
Your choices
- In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, a consent form appears the first time the app runs. You can reopen it at any time from side menu → Privacy settings inside Randomizer, and withdraw consent as easily as you gave it. Declining still leaves the whole app usable, with non-personalised ads.
- On Android, you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads, depending on the device).
- Watching a video for ad-free time is never required.
What we do not do
- No accounts, and no email address, name, phone number or contacts collected.
- No precise location.
- No device hardware identifiers sent to analytics.
- No crash reporting.
- No selling of personal data. We hold none to sell.
Store privacy declarations
These match what is described above.
| Store | Declared |
|---|---|
| Google Play | Contains ads; uses the Advertising ID. Collected and shared with Google for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention: approximate location, app interactions, diagnostics and device or other IDs. Encrypted in transit. No account, so no deletion request is needed. |
Children
Randomizer is a general-audience app. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Everything Randomizer stores is on your device, and deleting the app removes it. For the advertising and analytics data described above, the controls under Your choices apply, and Google's own privacy tools cover data held by Google. If you have a question or request, write to us at the address below.
Changes to this policy
If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
